FOREIGN SYSTEMS OF SOCIAL WORKER TRAINING AT UNIVERSITIES IN THE DISCOURSE OF UKRAINIAN COMPARATIVE STUDIES

Abstract

The article carries out a synthesized analysis of representative scientific studies on the problem of training social work specialists at universities of foreign countries to determine trends, achievements, problems of its understanding in Ukrainian comparative studies. In the process of search and heuristic work, about 250 different studies on the investigated problem were recorded. It was found that the majority of monographs, scientific articles, theses of conferences were prepared based on the materials of dissertations, so their content was actually duplicated. Under such a historiographical situation, their objective analysis was carried out; common and special, original, which determines the work of individual authors was revealed.

The factors are clarified and the periodization of the development of professional training of social sphere specialists and their functions and areas of activity is characterized, which is usually transformed into a characteristic of multi-level systems of professional education. According to the results of the historiographical analysis, the main trends and peculiarities of the study of the investigated problem are determined.
