The article describes the leading components of psychological-pedagogical concepts for the formation of the national and cultural «I-identity» among growing individual in institutions of extracurricular education. These include: conceptual-categorical, socio-cultural, and theoretical-methodological components, which allow for the optimal construction of educational, developmental, and socializing content. The essence of such content is considered by us as the unity of philosophical, culturological, worldview, and psychological and pedagogical paradigms, as an extrapolation of modern methodological principles in its construction, as a projection of the spiritual culture of society in relation to man and the environment. It has been proven that the shaped national-cultural «I-identity» among a growing individual characterizes his or her inherent need to feel part of a wider community and to perceive such belonging as a personal value. Therefore, the formation of the phenomenon under study is ensured by developing skills and abilities for independent self-determination, building his/her own life trajectory through the transmission of the basic ideas and values of Ukrainian society in institutions of extracurricular education.
