In the context of transformations of the modern educational space, intensification of the search for innovative educational technologies, development of the scientific potential of future specialists and establishment of the latest scientific schools that provide conditions for unlocking their creative potential are of particular relevance. These processes play a key role in the modernisation and stratification of the higher education system.
The analysis of the evolution of pedagogical science in Ukraine and the EU suggests a number of strategic vectors of development, including: generation of new ideas and theoretical concepts; expansion of the range of research problems; increasing differentiation of scientific knowledge and development of its individual areas; international recognition of scientific achievements;improvement of the conceptual and categorical apparatus of pedagogy; institutionalisation of science; compliance of scientific progress with the internal logic of development; development of variable models for solving pedagogical problems; introduction of interdisciplinary collective research initiatives; updating the methodological base of pedagogical research; strengthening the connection between theory and practice; improving the efficiency of educational processes; increasing the number of academic publications, specialised councils and researchers; ensuring a balance between differentiation and and integration of scientific knowledge.
Contemporary researchers emphasise that the progress of pedagogical science is driven by the need to revise the methodological foundations of its analysis, modernise management mechanisms and introduce effective organisational models of its functioning.
Within the modern scientific discourse, there is a tendency to involve young researchers in the implementation of interdisciplinary research projects based on the principles of academic integrity and scientific ethics. This approach contributes to rethinking the paradigm of scientific research, expanding the thematic range of research activities, and deepening the integration of research initiatives into the European higher education area.
