Abstract

The article presents the general methodological foundations for researching the problem of professional training of IT specialists in the conditions of the educational and informational environment of a higher education institution. Based on the analysis of numerous scientific sources, a stepwise structure of the research methodology has been determined, combining the general philosophical level (taking into account general principles of cognition of pedagogical reality; substantiation of the leading research concepts – «information», «environment», «information technologies»), the general scientific level (informological and axiological scientific approaches), the specialized scientific level (environmental and competence-based scientific approaches), and the procedural level (a set of methods and techniques for conducting a pedagogical experiment). The methodological mission of significant scientific-pedagogical theories in the history of the development of pedagogy methodology has been highlighted – J. Dewey, M. Montessori, A. Makarenko, G. Kerschensteiner, F. Taylor. The professional training of IT specialists as an educational system has been analyzed from the perspective of the scientific theories of T. Parsons and N. Luhmann. The important provision of N. Luhmann’s theory has been noted, stating that the main element of communication in the field of education is information as a component that influences changes in the system's state.

The conclusion has been formulated that the methodological system of professional training of IT specialists in the information-educational environment of a higher education institution is a complex, dynamic, open social system, the elements of which are the subjects (stakeholders) of professional training of specialists, as well as the connections between them (content-related, organizational, institutional, etc.).
