FEATURES OF THE STRUCTURE OF TRANSVERSAL COMPETENCE OF A FUTURE GEOGRAPHY TEACHER

The article substantiates the structure of the transversal competence of a future geography teacher as an important component of professional training. Three components of the specified competence are identified: motivational-axiological, intellectual-cognitive, praxeological-communicative. The content of the components is specified. It is found that the motivational-axiological component is based on the motivational and axiological components. The content of the components is specified. The key aspect is the formation of the motivational and value sphere of the applicant, which includes value orientations, motivation for learning, professional activity, development of personal qualities, orientation towards achieving success and professional growth. It is revealed that the intellectual and cognitive component reflects the system of psychological and pedagogical, scientific and methodological, subject, technological knowledge acquired by applicants, which ensures the process of forming the transversal competence of a future geography teacher. The structure of the component highlights general cultural, communicative, research, methodological, prognostic, information and communication and technological competences. The praxeological-communicative componentcovers a set of skills and abilities mastered by applicants that enable them to performactions at the technological level. The need to use technologies of project activity, educational game, development of critical thinking, digital technologies is noted. Within the communicative component, groups of skills and abilities of a future geography teacher that form transversal competence are highlighted.
