Abstract

Modern volleyball requires players not only high physical fitness, technical skill and tactical awareness, but also a clear distribution of functional responsibilities depending on the game role. The article highlights the features of implementing a differentiated approach to training volleyball players of university teams, taking into account the specifics of their game role. It is noted that a differentiated approach to training volleyball players makes it possible to optimize the educational and training process, increase the effectiveness of the game and reduce the risk of overload or injuries. The main factors that provide for the need to use differentiated training of volleyball players, taking into account their functional responsibilities in the team, are highlighted. The essence of the concepts of «differentiated training» and «individualization» in volleyball is revealed. The characteristics and functional responsibilities of playing roles in volleyball are summarized, such as: connecting player, finishing player, diagonal attacker, central blocker and libero. The influence and significance of technical, physical, tactical and psychological training in volleyball are studied. The requirements for technical, physical and tactical-psychological training of volleyball players of different roles are determined. The need for individualization of the training process to increase the effectiveness of the game and the optimal development of the playing qualities of athletes is substantiated. The requirements for differentiated training are characterized, taking into account the optimal duration of loads for volleyball players of different roles. The main directions of improving the training process are given and practical recommendations are formed for building training programs taking into account the functional responsibilities of players in the team. It is emphasized that a differentiated approach will not only contribute to improving sports results, but also ensures individualization of training, which is an important factor in the motivation and professional growth of volleyball players in university sports. The results of the study can be used by coaches and physical education teachers to increase the effectiveness of training university teams.
