Archiving and Long-Term Preservation Policy

The journal ensures reliable, long-term preservation and continuous open access to published materials in accordance with national requirements and international standards for scholarly publishing.

To ensure the preservation of scholarly content, the editorial board implements a comprehensive digital archiving policy that includes:
    • preservation of full-text articles and metadata on the journal’s official website using modern web technologies and standardized formats (HTML, PDF); 
    • regular backup of electronic data using technical measures that minimize the risk of data loss; 
    • maintaining the relevance of storage formats, ensuring the accessibility of materials regardless of changes in software or technological infrastructure;
    • using international metadata standards that facilitate the integration of publications into global scientific information systems. 

All scientific articles in the journal are assigned DOI identifiers, which ensure their unique identification, the permanence of citations, and long-term access to the materials.

To enhance scientific visibility and ensure additional levels of preservation, the editorial board supports a self-archiving policy, under which authors are permitted to deposit published versions of their articles (postprints) in:
    • institutional repositories of higher education institutions;
    • national and international open-access archives of scientific publications; 
    • personal academic profiles and websites. 

The journal ensures the duplication and long-term preservation of full-text articles and metadata by hosting them in the institutional repository of Rivne State University of the Humanities: http://repository.rshu.edu.ua/.

This makes possible the independent archiving of materials, increases their accessibility and citation rates, and guarantees the preservation of scholarly content in the event of changes to or the discontinuation of the journal’s main website.

In the event of a retraction or amendment to published materials, the relevant articles are not removed from the archive but are retained with a clear indication of their status, ensuring transparency in scientific communication and compliance with the principles of academic integrity.
