Abstract

Farm work, despite increasing urbanisation and mechanisation, remains one of the oldest and most fundamental human activities. The article presents farm work not only as a source of livelihood, but also as an important educational factor, fostering the formation of positive character traits. An interdisciplinary approach was used, combining psychology, pedagogy and sociology to show the influence of manual work on self-discipline, responsibility, perseverance and respect for nature and tradition.
