The article provides a comprehensive theoretical substantiation and in-depth analysis of managerial practices in a multidisciplinary higher education institution, using the Rivne State University of Humanities and its Faculty of Documental Communications, Management, Technologies, and Physics (FDKMTF) as a representative case study. Particular attention is paid to the interaction and integration of external regulatory frameworks, university-level governance mechanisms, and faculty-based managerial practices as interconnected components of a holistic quality management system.
The study emphasizes the decisive role of institutional autonomy as a stabilizing and enabling factor in managerial decision-making, allowing higher education institutions to respond flexibly to dynamic socio-economic, technological, and regulatory changes while maintaining compliance with national and international quality standards. It is demonstrated that a multi-level coordination model, supported by internal quality assurance mechanisms, fosters organizational coherence, managerial synergy, and adaptability to external challenges.
The research highlights key dimensions of contemporary educational management, including the digital transformation of the educational process, the implementation of academic integrity principles, the development of academic mobility for students and academic staff, human resource development, stakeholder engagement, and alignment of educational programs with regional labor market needs. The findings confirm that the integration of strategic planning with operational management enhances institutional resilience, improves the effectiveness of educational programs, and strengthens graduate competitiveness.
The results of the study provide evidence-based recommendations for optimizing managerial processes in multidisciplinary higher education institutions and outline перспективи for further applied and transformational research in the fields of quality assurance, institutional governance, and the integration of educational and research activities under conditions of ongoing change.
