The article describes the concept of «professional training of a future primary school teacher» as a process of mastering life and professional competencies, general scientific, professional knowledge and skills for the successful implementation of professional activities. It has been determined that the main components of the professional training of a future primary school teacher are the modernization and updating of the content, forms, methods and technologies of teaching students, the use of the capabilities of information and communication technologies and online educational platforms, websites, social networks, and mobile applications.
The attention is focused at traditional and interactive forms and methods of teaching, which are used when studying the disciplines «Theory and Methods of Education», «Pedagogical Skills», «Organization of Volunteer Activities»: interactive lectures, problem lectures, provocation lectures, dialogue lectures, debate seminars, conversation seminars, mixed seminars, business and role-playing games, trainings; interactive methods: unfinished sentences, openwork saw, brainstorming, microphone, Socratic conversation, press method, panel discussion, case method, decision tree, idea mat. All these make effective professional training possible. The importance of scientific and research activities as a component of the professional training of a future primary school teacher is emphasized.
At the same time, special conditions are formed for the personal professional growth of future primary school teachers, for: development of their creative thinking and individual abilities, the instillation of skills of independent activity, the development of initiative, the desire to transform theoretical knowledge into practical experience, the expansion of worldview and scientific erudition, the motivation to participate in the volunteer center «From Heart to Heart», in the educational and research group «Colors of the Native Land».
