DETERMINATION OF «SELF-CONCEPT» IN THE PROCESS OF SHAPING A FUTURE SPECIALIST AS A PROFESSIONALIN HIGHER EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION

The article carried out: a study of the formation of a positive professional «self-concept» in future specialists in the process of professional training in a higher education institution. The results of recent scientific research on the problem under study were characterized. The theoretical constructs of the professional «self-concept» of the future specialist were identified and characterized. The content of the stages of forming the image «I am a future professional» in the process of professional training of a future specialist in a higher education institution is revealed: initial, basic, final. The components of the process of development of the studied phenomenon are identified: cognitive, emotional-value and behavioral. The leading determinants that will help them achieve the image of «I am a future professional» as a product of the development of their self-awareness based on: self-knowledge and self-understanding, formed self-confidence and their potential professional capabilities, emotional stability and social adaptability were characterized.
Their content, structure and characteristics of these determinants were revealed: actualization of needs, motives and positive attitude towards the surrounding social world, towards oneself and others, understanding of oneєs own place in a higher education institution and society in general; establishing professional interpersonal relationships, and most importantly, cooperation in the system «future specialist – future specialist» and the system «future specialist – teacher – society» in the process of professional training; the use of a personal approach and individualization in the organization of the educational process in higher education institutions; the actualization of professional self-awareness in order to achieve professional self-improvement in the capacity of «I am a future professional».
