PEDAGOGICAL CONDITIONS FOR SHAPING COMPETENCES AMONG SPECIALISTS IN INSTITUTIONS OF HIGHER EDUCATION

Attention is focused on the importance of developing competencies among University students, which is one of the leading factors in improving professional training in Universities.
The essence of the concepts of «competence», «condition», «pedagogical condition» was analyzed. It has been found that in modern conditions of education development, competence is defined as a complex characteristic of an individual, which ensures his ability to effectively realize himself in studies, professional activities and everyday life, achieving the set goals. Pedagogical conditions are considered a key component of the pedagogical system that integrates various factors of the educational environment and the material and spatial organization of the educational process; reflect a set of opportunities that affect both the personal development of participants in the educational process and the structural and procedural component of the entire system.
It is substantiated that the formation of specialists’ competencies in higher education institutions will be carried out effectively on the basis of determining appropriate pedagogical conditions, taking into account the peculiarities of professional training, determined by the specifics of future professional activity.
Universal pedagogical conditions for the formation of specialists’ competencies have been identified: formation of motivation to master the future profession; modeling of the process of competence formation among future specialists; application of innovative and interactive technologies in the educational process; formation of personal and professional qualities of the future specialist; ensuring the acquisition of practical experience of future professional activity.
It has been proven that the implementation of a set of defined pedagogical conditions will contribute to the effective formation of specialists’ competencies.
