Abstract. In recent years, there has been an increasing interest in issues of methodology. This will enable us to approach an understanding of the regularities in the development of pedagogical systems and personality, and to avoid inaccuracies in organizing the educational process. We are witnessing difficulties in defining the essence of basic concepts and in arguing for the reform of general education schools, higher education institutions, and so on. Raising the theoretical level of participants in the educational process and researchers will make it possible to systematically assess the impact of methodology on methods, improve the system of professional development, use the advantages of dialectical thinking, and build the foundation of scientific competence, etc. It is necessary to avoid contrasting the methodological culture of teachers of previous years with that of teachers in the New Ukrainian School (NUS). Further study is needed on the philosophical substantiation of the experiences of other countries. Among the main tasks of methodological culture at the theoretical level, it is advisable to generalize the experience of Polish authors on the issues of integrating pedagogy and philosophy, and the didactics of creativity. Further research requires a systematic retrospective assessment of pedagogical phenomena, an understanding of the comparative basis of development, and the prerequisites for implementing the proposals of the Club of Rome experts regarding integral thinking. At the personal level for lecturers and teachers, it is important to understand and use theoretical generalizations, and to test their effectiveness in the conditions of educational institutions, taking into account individual characteristics. Polish specialists draw attention to methodological aspects of discrimination in the research process, features of studying sexuality, children, overcoming crises, theoretical foundations of affirming values, and pedagogical personology. It is advisable to single out the issue of the level of methodological culture of students. Let us note the advantages and threats of artificial intelligence.
